Hi,
I started again using two screens on my Vista 64 bit system. Basically i want to use your program to be able to switch on and off the secondary screen for gaming, and this quick and efficiently, without having every time to go into the Nvidia control panel. Especially, the hotkey function seems to be a good way to do this. Now, the problem is, that whenever i disable/enable the secondary screen (it doesnt matter if i use a shortcut, or do it with the tray icon) my primary screen blanks out. It does not switch off, but it looks the same as the "Blank" screen saver, i do effectively use. Nothing i do, gives me this screen back. So i am basically blind and i have to hardreset the pc. After the reset, it behaves like it should: the secondary screen is either disabled or enabled.
Any ideas, what i am maybe doing wrong or where it fails?
Hardware and drivers list: Vista Premium 64bit Nvidia Geforce 285 GTX Nvidia Driver 182.08 LCD Screens: Primary: Samsung SyncMaster 225BW (22 inch) Secondary: Acer X223W (22inch) both screens have their driver installed (no generic PnP Driver)
If more information is needed, i will provide it.
Hopefully, you can help me or at least hint me into the right direction, as i like the functionality of your application and would like to buy it. But, as of now, it is pretty useless to me.
Kind regards,
Jerome W.

Sounds like a display driver issue, make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card. Also check if you have the same problem when disabling the monitor manually via UltraMon menu > Display Settings or Windows Display Properties.

Hi,
Thanks for your quick answer. After trying around, im am positive to say that the problem lies within the installation of my system, which, over time, has in someway become corrupted. I will reinstall the system as soon as i find time to do so, what might happen this week. At this point everything else is a waste of your and my time. Until then, i found a workaround. I simply lock the cursor to the main screen (margin on 2), and switch the secondary screen off with its powerbutton. Although this takes a little more performance (i have enough of it), its an easy solution for the moment. So, consider my problem solved for the moment. Should the problem still remain after a new installation, then i will repost here.
So far,
thanks for your help,
Jerome W.
