I don't have a release date for 3.0 final, but expect it to be ready later this year.

Vista although not officially is about to be replaced by Win 7 and Ultramon is still in Beta for Vista builds !
I find this very strange that it takes so long to get new builds for non freeware/actually expensive software.

Totally agree also. This program is in Beta for several years already, but we have to pay 40$ for it. This is not acceptable!

The software may be in beta, but it works well and does it's job. I've been using it fine on XP, Vista and now Windows 7 (even before the latest release) and it's been a joy to use and haven't had any major problems with it.
Christian works very hard on UltraMon and it shows, always fixes bugs and problems that are brought to his attention, offers good support and makes a good product. For me, UltraMon is in Beta in the same way that GMail and the Google apps have been in Beta for years.
It's also great that more Windows 7 support and integration has been added before the release of Windows 7.
Products like Ultramon that are always there, that are the first things you install on your system, that you use so much you often dont even realise it, coupled with the level of support offered here, is definitely worth the money!

Oli are you on the payroll or just a brown nose ?
I do not like the way some peeps complain here in an abusive manor when there is a nice and civilised way to go about it.
The FACT remains this Beta software is not 100% in Vista or it would not Beta and its taking far too long IMO as now Windows 7 is officially RTM.

I couldn't agree more with Oli's statement.
