Ultramonitor has an option to move a window to the other monitor by right clicking on the icon in the task bar and selecting "Move to Other Monitor", however if the Windows task bar option "Group similar taskbar buttons" is selected, then this right click option is not available.
Can the "Move to Other Monitor" also appear and function when buttons are grouped?
I am running XP with Ultramon 3.0.5 Beta. I have treid taskbar shuffler (2.5), but it is nto able to move the buttons between the monitors, but can "shuffle buttons" on the same monitor's task bar.
Thanks,
Douglas.

This works fine for me, I tested with multiple Notepad instances on XP with UltraMon 3.0.5.
Do you also have this problem with Notepad, or only with a specific application?

I don't really use this feature, but I have the same experience that it does not work with grouped applications. I'm on XP Pro and UltraMon 3.0.5. One thing I notice is when right-clicking the taskbar for a grouped application, Windows does not bring that application to the front a give it focus like it does for a non-grouped application. That could have something to do with the way UltraMon is treating it...

More research shows me that if you left-click the grouped icon and it pops up the list of application instances in that group, you can right-click one of those and the context menu to move to the other desktop appears.
Is the OP wanting to move the entire group instead of one application instance within the group?
