When running in Vista x64 the taskbar on the primary monitor is solid, while the taskbars on monitor 3 & 4 are see through (Aero?). I guess I hadn't noticed before because as soon as a window is opened, on any monitor, they become solid. The thing that caught my attention the most is I have 3 different pictures displayed and the wrong one was being displayed, in the taskbars, when they were in Aero mode. (i.e. the bottom of monitor 3 is displayed on 4 and the bottom of 1 is displayed on 3, 2 is disabled)
Just to clarify the pictures are right on the desktop but what is displayed in the taskbar when in Aero mode is wrong.
Thanks, Don

This works fine for me, if transparency is disabled the UltraMon taskbars are opaque as well. Are you sure the main taskbar isn't transparent, to verify this move an application behind the taskbar.
The issue with the wrong wallpaper being shown behind the taskbars is a Vista issue, has been fixed in Windows 7.

I have the same problem. i have 2 monitors. And the takbar on the second monitor is solid (verified by app behind bar test)
also the buttons (windows) are displayed "flat"
i can provide a screenshot if needed...

Leo, sounds like you might have version 2 of UltraMon installed, this doesn't support Aero. Installing the 3.0 Beta will fix the problem.

Christian: That was indeed the "problem".
Thank you for pointing me the right way. It was clearly a "user mistake" in this case :D
