i still receive this error when trying to install Ultramon 3.0.7 on Windows 7 x64 RC.
video card: Nvidia Geforce 9600
error:

all patches/updates for Win7 RC (64bit) as of july 31, 2009. same exact error on older versions also.

i take that back. problem i had was caused by trying to run in Vista Compatibility mode!
great job on the update! sorry for the unnecessary post. :)

I tried to run with Vista compatibility, but still get the error listed here.

Christy, you'll need to disable compatibility mode for UltraMon, otherwise you'll get the error shown here.

I am getting the same error message on Win7 x64 not in compatibility mode.
Any suggestion?

Robert, if the error message shows OS version 6.0 you are running UltraMon in Vista compatibility mode, otherwise OS version would be 6.1.
