I am just wondering is there any one of you using VMWare with multiple monitors? I am currently running a WIN2000 system with two monitors (AOpen GForce2 MX and ATI 3D Rage II) and trying to run VMWare/Linux on top of it. However, Linux was having problem detecting my video. Is there any one of you knows how to get around the problem?

Thanks for your help.

I actually use VMWare with a dualhead Matrox card, VMWare generally only detects a "Virtual" card and you need to install the appropriate drivers, Linux in Vmware has a special Xserver you must install. I did find that full-screen VMware sessions insisted on going to the primary display, however windowed displays can be dragged to the other monitor. Here's the problem, I am assuming you want your LINUX instance of VMWare to be dual display, and because of the way the VMWare framwork is designed, it only emulates a basic video card, (The same reason why DirectX doesnt work correctly if you ran Win2k in a VMWare window)
