Good Afternoon,
I'm using UltraMon with my laptop connected to 2 external LCD monitors (one of the external monitors takes my laptop's video output). When my laptop is docked, the laptop screen turns off and I work on the 2 external monitors. I use the ApplyProfileAndWallpaperDockedUndocked.vbs script to apply the proper profile and wallpaper depending on whether the laptop is docked/undocked. Everything works great except one thing....
When I redock and run the script, the laptop screen display remains on the laptop instead of moving to the 2nd external monitor. How can I modify the script to transfer the laptop screen back to the 2nd external monitor? Now, I must use my NVIDIA software to move the monitor screen back, which is tedious. I am using a Dell Precision M4300 Laptop witha NVIDIA Quadro FX 360M card.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Dave P

Check if the display profile you use for the docked scenario actually works and does what you want it to do.
There are a couple of potential issues with this, for example UltraMon usually can't change the primary monitor on laptops, and after docking, monitor numbers may have changed, which could cause problems for the display profile.

I am having a similar issue. I am using a laptop and 2 external monitors. When I dock the laptop and boot up, I'm able to select my "Docked at Work" profile and everything works (all 3 displays). The I select my "Undocked" profile and undock. No problems. However, when I redock the laptop, only one of the external monitors comes back. My mouse cursor still moves over to the other, blank monitor (can't see it, but it goes off-screen and I assume that's where it goes), and it still shows as enabled, but the only way I can get the monitor back is to reboot.
Note that this started happening after I switched to a new monitor. Previously, both my external monitors were the same shape, 1280x1024. I replaced one with a wide screen (1600x900), and now the issue has started.

Not sure what might cause this, please post the system information from UltraMon menu > About, with the 2 monitors working correctly, and with only one of the external monitors working correctly.
