My boss is using UtraMon to display two different pictures on his two seperate monitors.
The problem he has is that due to Folder Redirection his Application Data folder is redirected to a UNC path on our Server. At startup it looks like UltraMon cannot see this folder and the only way we can get his Wallpaper profile to work is to select the Default profile, then click Apply, then select his profile, then click apply, his profile then loads ok and his pictures show on each monitor.
Now, my question is how do I change the Wallpaper Profile path to a local directory on the C:\ drive?
I have already created the string values (I assume they're string values) for 'Wallpaper Directory' in the following registry keys, without success:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\Wallpaper
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\Wallpaper
Any help is much appreciated.

Do you get a blank wallpaper due to this?

Yes, it just shows the single colour background.

...Until we select the Default profile, then click Apply, then select his profile, then click apply.

Most likely what happens is that UltraMon refreshes the wallpaper during startup (because the display configuration has changed), can access the wallpaper file, but not the wallpaper images. This would result in a blank wallpaper.
If UltraMon couldn't access the wallpaper file the wallpaper wouldn't get refreshed, and the existing wallpaper bitmap would be used.
To verify this, go to wallpaper options and uncheck 'adjust wallpaper when display configuration changes'.
Possible fixes would be to ensure the images are available when UltraMon gets started, or to delay UltraMon startup.

UltraMon should be able to access the wallpaper images at anytime as they are stored on the c:\ drive, it's just the Wallpaper Profile file (.wallpaper) that is stored on the UNC path, sorry I forgot to mention that in my original post.

Which version of UltraMon are you using?

It is version 3.0.7 beta

With version 3 of UltraMon the wallpaper profiles always get stored in the AppData folder, this can't be changed.
I'm still not sure though why you would get this problem if only the profile file isn't accessible, I looked at the code again and UltraMon simply shouldn't update the wallpaper bitmap in this case.
Does the problem go away if you uncheck the option 'adjust wallpaper when display configuration changes' under wallpaper options?

Excuse my late reply.
My boss is away at the moment, I'll check when he gets back on Monday and let you know.
Thanks once again for help.
