Forums -> Multiple monitors -> Effects of using KVM on two monitors out of three

I have a two-monitor setup that runs through a KVM switch to allow two boxes to be controlled and displayed. Works fine
I'm thinking of adding a third monitor, but it couldn't go through the KVM switch so it would always be on one of the boxes (my main one Dell-P390 with NVIDIA Quadro FX 550 - currently with XP) with a direct connection.
Presumably I'd add another NVIDIA card and run the third monitor from that one.

Can UltraMon handle this kind of weird setup?
Would I be likely to screw things up completely as I switched between three-at-once and two-on-one with one on the other CPU?

Thanks

My guess would be that this will work fine, I haven't tested such a setup myself though. UltraMon should have no special problems with this, if it works with Windows it should also work with UltraMon.
