When I minimize an application on a monitor with a Smart Taskbar, it does go into the proper task bar, however the actual Aero Animatio was the window fades away and about to minimize goes into my first monitor (Main/Real Taskbar)
This is not a big concern however it is a little annoying. Can anything be done about it?
Thanks!

I'm not sure if this can be changed, I'll look into this for a future release.

I found this page by searching for the very same issue.
I find it *very* distracting to my workflow, it makes my eyes dart all over the shop like a nervous hedgehog.
I seem to remember that under Vista, the behaviour was - main taskbar window, normal minimise animation - ultramon taskbar window, NO minimise animation.
Any chance of this type of operation returning...? (pretty please? ;))

Glad it isn't only me. I'm an eye-candy junkie, so for me this is a deal-breaker. Displayfusion doesn't do this, but I like Ultramon better.
Will this be fixed for the next release? It's the only thing stopping me buying.

The minimize animation seems like such a minor thing. But it has eventually bothered me enough that I performed a went searching and stumbled upon this page. Please try to correct it. Thanks.

Just installed ultramon, and that was the very first thing I noticed. It is very distracting, however the minimize action does go to the correct taskbar.

I found that you can disable the animation.

I'm with the crowd on this on. It's a minor thing, but very distracting. I've started to no longer minimize windows as it's more distracting than desktop clutter. If the animation can be fixed, that'd be awesome.

It would be so great if this was fixed. It is such a useful feature, but the animation going to the wrong place is far to distracting.

Count me in as one that loves UltraMon and couldn't live without it but also one that was bothered just enough to do a quick search on the issue and find this page :D

I am another win 7 user that has used ultramon since the xp days, and I too find the minimize animation very distracting. I use three monitors at work so the the third far right monitor has the animation darting across it, the middle monitor to the left monitor.

I'd like to also +1.
I was aware of being able to turn off those animations. Turning off the minimizing animation under Visual Effects also turns off closing and opening window animations. Apart from looking good, I think it's also useful to have the minimizing animation on to get a feel for whereabouts in the taskbar the window you've just minimized is 'going'.

+1 The close window aninmation flying across from secondary to primary monitor is very annoying. Win 7 Pro SP1, UltraMon 3.2.1

+1 I'd like this fixed too please. It's very annoying that when minimizing an application it doesn't go down to the taskbar that the window is open on - but rather the other one. Very annoying.
