I just installed UltraMon 2.7.1 and registered it without any problems, but it didn't work correctly. Then I found the beta 3.0.7 and tried to install it, because of compatability with Windows 7. When I tried to register it with the same number as the previous version, it said that the number was invalid. Do I need a different registration number for the beta?

No, the version 2 code will work fine with the 3.0 beta. Make sure you have entered the correct name in the Registered To field, the name and code are linked.
