The OS here is Windows 7 64 bit build 7100. I was using Backup4All ver 4.0.126 with no problems. I just installed an update ver (4.2.156). The update completely uninstalled the older version and installs the new version in the empty folder. When I launched the new Backup4All, it appeared to load, but there was nothing on the screen(for Backup4All, all other program windows were OK). After some investigation, the task manager said the app was running, but I could see no window for the app. I then rebooted Win 7 and did the above again. Same results. So, after terminating Backup4All with the task manager, I right-clicked on the ultramon icon and exited the program. I then re-launched Backup4All and the program windows appeared and everything is working. So the problem appears to be that when Ultramon is running, the initial program window for Backup4All is not shown. When UltraMon is not running, Backup4All runs fine. The UltraMon version is 3.0.7 beta. The Backup4All is a 32 bit program.

So far I haven't been able to reproduce this issue, Backup4all opens fine for me with UltraMon running, I tested with the same version you're using on 64-bit Windows 7. The only issue I noticed is that UltraMon doesn't add its window buttons to the application.

One thing you could try is to disable features like the window buttons or menu commands for the application, you can do this via UltraMon Options > Compatibility.
