Hello,
I have version 2.7.1 with XP. When I boot up the computer UM doesn't automatically start. Instead, I must go to Programs and click on it. This is a new problem. It has previously worked. How do I fix it? Thank you.

The direct link at start menu must be lost. Check it ;)

Please try if repairing your UltraMon installation fixes the problem, to do this go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs, select UltraMon from the list, click on the support information link, then click on Repair.
