Just wondering is anyone has used this chipset before and if they used it with multiple monitor support. I would like to use my laptops display and a monitor display at the same time, with different information on both. I can do the twim view, but I really don't need to see 2 screens the same.

What operating system is the best for this? I am dual booting currently with Windows 2000 and linux. Althought I have considering going with XP.

Thoughts, ideas and hints would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Michael

I can use two independant displays on my Thinkpad T23 with a supersavage XCi - though I'm using Windows XP.

BUT there's a problem I really want to solve with this configuration: I can't choose which display to be primary screen - that option is greyed out, which makes the built in LCD the primary and the externally connected TFT the secondary - which in my setup simply sucks and doesn't work very good :/

Weyland, there's no fix for this, most laptop video chipsets don't support setting the external monitor as primary.
