Hey there, i've found an annoying (But not fatal) little problem with UltraMon that i'd like to make you aware of.
I run a Windows 7 machine (currently the RC: 7100 build, not tested on final release, yet) and have found that if Ultramon does not close cleanly, it will fail to restart correctly on the next machine start up.
On two occasions in recent weeks i've had a powercut at my home, and on both occasions, after I had restarted my PC, Ultramon would no longer function correctly. Icons for newly started apps would simply not show in the primary task bar (Secondary taskbars worked as normal on a three monitor setup), and any applications that I had 'pinned' would highlight for a moment when clicked, the application would launch, and the icon highlighting would then fade out. This meant the only way to move between windows or applications, or to even keep track of what was running, was to Alt+Tab through them.
After fiddling around a little I found that if I disabled 'Smart Taskbar' the primary task bar would work as normal, however this defeated the main reason of why I use Ultramon as it closed the secondary taskbars. If I restarted the machine 'cleanly' by allowing windows to restart in it's own time, the issue would clear itself up, and Ultramon would work perfectly once again.
I can create this issue 100% of the time by forcing a sudden shut down, such as disconnecting the power, and then booting up windows.
I'd personally have no idea how to go about fixing this, but I just thought i'd bring this little issue to your attention.
Thanks! :D

Should also point out that this was in the 3.0.7 build.

I can't reproduce this issue on 64-bit Windows 7 RTM, the taskbar works fine after shutting down the system by unplugging the power cord. I'm also not sure what might cause this on your system, UltraMon should have no problems with unexpected shutdowns.
Does restarting UltraMon fix the problem? You can close UltraMon via right-click on the UltraMon icon in the system tray, then select Close from the menu. You can restart it via Start Menu > Programs.
