With IE6, my Ultramon worked fine. I had two IE icons, one would open the window on my left monitor and one would open the IE window on my right monitor. Worked great. When I upgraded to IE8, those icons only open the windows on the correct monitor the first time when IE is first started up. After that, no matter which icon I use, the IE window opens on the same monitor as the first window is on. I have upgraded to the latest Ultramon beta. Is this a known issue? I believe the icons are set up correctly....

I'm seeing that as well (Windows 7 with IE 8), not sure what causes this. I'm going to look into this for one of the next releases.

I have the same problem. I had 8 shortcuts with a specific position for each one (4 IE windows by monitor) and since I migrated from IE7 to IE8 the IE windows do not open in the positions I specified.
I going back to IE7 until this bug is fixed.
