Not sure what is causing this problem. With Beta6 running I open the FreeCell game and the title is garbage. Plus when the cursor moves into the client area it turns into the "hourglass" and nothing can be sellected. Turning off Ultramon before opening the game and everything works fine.

Thanks for your bug report.
I haven't been able to reproduce this on Win98, will try with Win98 SE tomorrow.

I have been able to reproduce this problem on Win98 SE, should be fixed in Beta 7.
As a workaround, I suggest you close UltraMon before playing the game, then restart it afterwards through the shortcut in Start menu > Programs > Startup.
Alternatively, you can also disable the following features in Options:
General > enable moving of maximized windows using the mouse
Window Title Bar > add buttons
Window Menu > add commands
