Hello,
Using windows 7 and Ultramon 3.0.7 beta
Set up a shortcut to launch IE maximized on my secondary monitor and it works fine unless an instance of IE is already open on my primary monitor. In this case the new instance I am launching via the shortcut always opens on the primary monitor. Am I missing something or is this a bug in the beta?
Also, any plans to be able to launch an app in fullscreen mode (not just maximized)? Is there a way to do this with IE that I am missing?
Thanks. Mike

I'm seeing that as well, seems to be an issue with IE8. I'll look into this for one of the next releases, but don't know yet if a fix is possible.
Regarding fullscreen mode: the application would need to support this via command line argument, otherwise UltraMon won't be able to put it into fullscreen mode. The -k option will do this for IE:
"%ProgramFiles%\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -k http://www.realtimesoft.com

Thanks for the quick reply.
I figured out how to use the command line parmeter but using this method I cannot access the toolbar at all now. If I open IE normally, then hit F11 to enter fullscreen mode, the toolbar autohides and is accesible by mousing near the top of my screen. I realize this is IE's behaviour, not Ultramon's, but I searched and could not find a way to use the parameter(s) to open IE fullscreen while reataining the ability to access the toolbar. Is there a way to do this?
Cheers, Mike

I'm not aware of a way to do this.
