So I am planning to upgrade my XP machine to Windows 7 but since it's using XP, I have to do a clean install of 7 (which is what I would do normally anyways). I was wondering if anyone knows whether I can still use the same license that I bought or if I have to buy another license since it is the same machine, just a new OS?

Your existing license will work fine with the new installation, version 2 licenses are valid for all 3.0 beta releases.
