Dear Christian,
I am using 3.0.7 with Windows 7. There is a problem with the extra buttons position in Skype, they are displayed over the other standard buttons. With Google Chrome, the buttons are simply not displayed.

There's currently no fix for the issue with Chrome, this is due to the custom window title bar. I'm going to look into the Skype issue for a later release, as a workaround you could disable the buttons for Skype under UltraMon Options > Compatibility.

Add another issue with buttons to the Adobe CS5 suite, probably because they Adobe uses a custom skin instead of the standard windows UI. The UltraMon buttons show up there as well, overlaying some of the search and Adobe CS Live icons. Is it possible to create a profile that is installed with UltraMon to disable the buttons in certain applications by default? Or possibly to detect when an application is using a custom skin and disable the UltraMon buttons at that point?

Not directly, but you could create the registry entry manually, this is stored under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\<version>\AppCompat.
