I bought ultramon when I was still using XP and it's been working great for me, however since upgrading to windows 7 (64 bit, nvidia video cards) it is next to unusable unfortunately.
The main issue(s) I have been having is with changing my monitor configuration: my computer has 4 monitors connected to 2 video cards, 2 on my desk and the other 2 in different places in the room.
In XP with ultramon 2 I was able to have 3 profiles, one with my two 'desktop monitors 1 & 2' enabled, one with only monitor 3, and one with only monitor 4, and switch between them at will with no issues at all
In W7 if I select some monitors to be on/off when changing layouts they never seem to get back, if I say make a profile with monitor 3 on, and then switch back to the monitor 1+2 often 3 stays on, 1 will come on but not 2, at times switching will cause 3 & 4 to stay disabled permanently until I quit ultramon entirely.
3 & 4 also seem to sometimes 'lose' their resolution when switching with monitors disabled (reverting to 640x480).
I have also tried changing things so every monitor is enabled in every profile and only the 'primary' changes, this works better but when switching it can still happen that the 1-2-3-4 ordering gets messed up, or the resolution of a monitor changes, or that now windows will think that all new windows have to open on 'monitor 3' say, instead of 'monitor 2' even switching to the profile with 'monitor 2' as a primary.
Due to all these issues I find ultramon 3.0.7 completely unusable for me on windows 7, pity because it has been extremely useful on XP and I had come to rely on it quite extensively.
Hopefully the issues will be fixed at some point, if you need any more info or me to try and debug this more please let me know.

The issue with disabling/enabling monitors will be fixed in the next release, I'm still looking for a solution to the monitor numbering issue though.

thanks, I am glad these issues are known, and really hope you can fix them as, as I was saying in my previous email, ultramon is one of the most useful programs I own (I basically registered it the same day I heard about it after trying the demo)
In terms of the ordering, I am not sure if it would help others, but all my monitors have different resolution/refresh rates, so that would be an easy way to figure out which monitor was supposed to go in which order.

I have a lot of the same problems as the original poster. Using Win 7 64 Bit and anxiously awaiting the next release of UltraMon to hopefully correct some of the problems.
