Forums -> UltraMon™ -> Win 7 x64 - Buttons To Move Between Screens Missing

Hello,

I recently re-installed my OS from Win7-32 to Win7-64. In 32, Ultramon worked perfectly, no issues. In 64, some things aren't working.

For example, the two buttons that should be added to all Windows are missing (Maximize to all screens and Move). If I click the area where they should be, they functions still work. For Move the box pops up that shows the different screens.

Also, in 32-bit, the Smart Taskbar looked like my main taskbar, only showing a large icon for the Program. Now it shows a half height taskbar, showing a small icon with text next to it. Is there anyway to get just the icon view back?

Thanks

strange problem, I'm on windows server 2008 R2 x86-64 and everything is working well.

I also use third party themes and dont have this problem.

Do you check the options of ultramon ( i know its a stupid question ) " buttons and menu commands " maybe add space between the original buttons and the ultramon buttons

Maybe you're running UltraMon in compatibility mode, to verify this right-click UltraMon.exe in C:\Program Files\UltraMon and make sure none of the options on the Compatibility tab are checked.

Thanks for both of your replies.

If I set my theme back to "Windows Basic", then I see the buttons. But as soon as I enable any Aero theme, I lose them.

I turned transparency off, but they are still gone.

I looked at all of the settings, and I didn't see anything that I thought would take care of it.

If you have any specific ideas, I'll give them a try.

Thanks

Are you sure you have 3.0.7 installed?

I am having the same issue. I check the buttons tab in the options and I have selected both check boxes to add the buttons to menu/ I have even tried changing location option. No change, I do not see the option when right clicking on the program in the taskbar. I recently installed win7. before I was running ultrmon on winxp and the feature worked fine. It is actually the only feature that I am interested in at this time. any ideas?

Do you mean the menu commands added by UltraMon to the application's window menu? To get that on the main taskbar on Windows 7, press SHIFT when right-clicking the task button.
