i'm trying to use the feature referenced here
http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/overview/
called application positioning. this is accessed via the program's properties (right-click -> properties).
the ultramon tab does indeed show up for notepad, but any of the other programs i have tried (Microsoft Outlook for instance) do not have an additional Ultramon tab. i even went so far as to right-click the actual exe (and not the shortcut) and still have no success
any thoughts?

UltraMon can't add its tabs to Windows Installer shortcuts like those used by Office, but you could create a new shortcut for the application via UltraMon menu > Shortcuts.
