Hi, just purchased the product which overall is pretty good. One odd problem. Here's the background:
Profiles: A: Laptop only (1440x900 notebook screen) B: Laptop + Extended External Disp (1024x768) C: Laptop + Extended Eternal Disp (1680x1050)
The behavior I'm seeing is:
Switch A->B & back works Switch A->C does not work Switch A->B->C & back works Switch C->A works
Kind of driving me nuts. Some additional observations:
When I try and switch from A->C the screen flickers but there is no external extended display at all (even at the wrong resolution). If I go to the saved profile C and do a properties on it the external display resolution is something like 200x300.
If I go from A->B->C the extended display works (at the 1024x768 resolution) when I'm on B and then works at the proper 1600x1050 resolution when I get to C. Then if I look at the exact same profile C it has the correct resolution property.
I'm suspecting that there is something about the 1600x1050 resolution, but that's just a guess. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Which version of UltraMon and Windows are you using?

I'm getting the same sort of behaviour. In general, any attempt to activate a profile that will re-enable a secondary display fails.
With both displays on, I can switch profiles (externalLeft and externalRight), and I can switch to notebookOnly, but once in notebookOnly I can't get back to externalLeft or externalRight without re-enabling the display in Win 7 "Screen Resolution" dialog.
I believe this is listed as fixed in 3.0.8 Beta, but that is what I am using and it appears still to be an issue.
Thanks.

Jay, please run CcdInfo.exe and EnumDisp.exe with only the internal monitor enabled, and send me the generated log files to support@realtimesoft.com.

Similar issue here.
win7x64
1=laptop @1920x1080 2=external @1920x1080 3=external @1680x1050
I have a profile for 2+3 extended (normal usage)
I have a profile for ONLY #2.
As soon as #3 is turned off, the (normal usage) profile when activated turns on #1 and #2.
From a cold boot with only #2 active, if I try to launch the (normal usage) profile I get #1 and #2.

FWIW, the ATi software suffers the same issue. If I save a profile as #2 and #3, the #1 (laptop display) always trumps the #3 monitor.
