In the beta, using smart taskbar, when clicking on a pinned app on the primary taskbar while the window is on a secondary monitor, a new instance is created instead of restoring/focusing the clicked application. Same thing happens when the winkey-# keystroke is invoked.

This is by design. Would you want pinned applications to remain on the main taskbar, independent of the monitor they're on?

Well, I'm here because I was seeking for a solution for exactly this bug. Anoying as hell because I always end up having 2978364982 instances of Outlook running. Beeing pinned should NOT mean that the Icon ramains on a certain monitor while there is a second Icon on the screen where the window is. They should stay a unit. Being pinnend should just mean, that the icon remains where it last was when you close the application.
