I recently changed computers from Windows XP 32 bit to Windows XP Pro 64 bit and can not figure out how to save a display profile in XP Pro.
When I right click the Ultra Mon icon and try to choose Display Profiles, there is no list of profiles which had been saved from the XP computer or the option to save the current profile.
If someone can explain how to save a profile, or if that is not an option in the XP Pro version, I would appreciate it. Any alternative ideas would be helpful.
Thank you.

What options do you see on the UltraMon menu if you right-click the UltraMon icon in the system tray?

The top line is Display Settings, the second is Display Profiles.
My recollection is that in XP 32 bit the Display Profiles could be toggled so that the current display could be saved under a configuration name. Maybe that is incorrect.
It shows: Display Settings Display Profiles Mirroring Screen Saver Shortcuts Wallpaper Desktop Icons Disable Secondary Set Primary Windows Display Properties Options Help About Close
I fiddled around with Options, Display Profile and Display Settings but could not figure out how to save it.
I have 12 monitors. Thanks.

That's still supported, just select Display Profiles > New Display Profile from the menu, then save the profile under a name of your choice. The profile will then show up under UltraMon menu > Display Profiles.

Thanks, that is what I thought. However, there is no arrow next to Display Profiles.
On the Mirroring line there is an arrow to the right which leads to another menu listing Settings, Start, Stop, etc.
But there is no such sub menu for Display Profiles.

Which version of UltraMon are you using?

I went to ultramon.com and clicked download and ended up here.

I installed 2.7.1 x64.
I now tried to install 3.0.9 RC and get an error. "This installation packaged could not be opened. Contact the application vendeor to verify this is a valid Windows Installer package."

You'll get this if the setup file is corrupted, see Setup: UltraMon.cab is corrupted or missing for more on this.
Let me know if you still have the problem with the empty Display Profiles menu with 3.0.9.

Thanks. I have had trouble finding a good cleaner for Win XP 64 bit. The new version installed through a different browser.
Will test it out.
Thank you!
