Since the latest upgrade, using WinXP, I sometimes experience the 2nd monitor flashing to black and then back to desktop when closing Firefox for example. The primary monitor also does a simultaneous refresh of the desktop (without going to black). Checked the settings etc and can't see anything odd - same resolutions/refresh rates...
Never used to do this with older version.

Maybe you have custom display settings configured for Firefox, to verify this right-click the Firefox shortcut, select Properties from the menu, then check if 'use custom settings' is checked on the UltraMon - Display tab.
