When I move a Firefox or Chrome browser window to a different monitor with the assigned window-move hotkey in UltraMon, the default active text field becomes inactive, and typing into it is impossible until I click off the text box and then back on the text box with the mouse. This defeats much of the convenience of UltraMon when used with web browsers (which is frequent, because this keyboard-only approach is my primary means for rapidly launching a new web search).
For whatever reason, this occurs with any website that sets the default text input field on page load in both Firefox and Chrome, but not IE.
Example:
1. Open Firefox/Chrome. Press Ctrl+L and type "google.com" followed by Enter. 2. Google appears, and the cursor in the search prompt is blinking. Typing works. 2. Move the window to a different monitor using UltraMon.
Result: Typing is now ineffective.
Note that I am using Windows XP Pro.

Which version of UltraMon are you using? I tested with 3.0.9 and Firefox 3.6.0 on XP, but so far couldn't reproduce the issue, the Google search box still had the focus after moving Firefox to the other monitor via hotkey.

2.7.1 -- just downloaded it the other day from the website. I thought it would therefore be the latest non-beta version (or close to it). Is it not?

That's correct, but 3.0.9 is a release candidate, 3.0.10 will be final. I would recommend upgrading to 3.0.9, there are no major known issues.

Thank you, Christian. I'm using 3.0.10 now and the bug is no longer present in this version.
