Hi,

I have a a HP DV5 series laptop (with a mobility radeon hd3200 integrated gpu) connected via HDMI to a projector.

I can currently toggle between displays using HP's built in "fn + f4" button.

However, I use my laptop as a HDTV and I am unable to program this fn keypress on my remote control.

I used to use ATI's CCC hotkey function to successfully solve this problem. However I have been having endless issues with the ATI drivers and CCC recently so I have uninstalled them and am letting Vista install the generic drivers.

So...I was hoping that Ultramon and/or the togglesinglemon2.vbs script that I found here might be the solution to my problem.

However when i try to run the script (either by double clicking it or calling it via an ultramon hotkey) I get an error message.

Does anyone have any ideas, or will this solution just not work with my setup?

Thanks so much in advance for any suggestions :)

What's the error message you get?

Code: 800A0005
Source: Microsoft VBScript runtime error

Thanks so much :)

You'll get this if UltraMon can't set the monitor as primary, some video card drivers prevent this (usually drivers for laptop chipsets).

Unfortunately there's no fix for this, you would need to change the primary monitor via the software for the video card.
