Running Windows 7, and I run Hamachi occasionally and recently tried the Ultramon 3.0.9 RC. The new version causes Hamachi to hang when you try to view any dialogs, like the exit confirmation dialog, or any Hamachi system messages. This is while using Hamachi version 1.0.1.5. I did not notice the same problem with the 3.0.7 build when I tried that a while ago.

Do you also get this if you start Hamachi, then select System > Preferences from the menu? I tested with version 2.0.1.66, and the Preferences dialog worked fine.

On the first try, I could access the System->Preferences menu and select blocks on the left, but if I tried clicking the "change nickname..." button on the right experimentally and it hung the program.
Subsequent tries to enter the same menu resulted in a hang as soon as the preferences window opened.
It is possible that upgrading to a later version of Hamachi would fix the problem, but that isn't an option for me. I use it to play VPN LAN games with friends, and later versions of Hamachi don't work very well for this.

Most likely this is related to the window buttons added by UltraMon, please try if disabling them for the application fixes the problem, you can do this via UltraMon Options > Compatibility.

Sure enough, that did it. I guess it didn't occur to me to try that because I couldn't see any buttons directly attached to the program.
