I really don't think I'm going to able to accomplish what it is I'm looking to do. My PC is basically like an all-in-one desktop/HTPC. I have a 32" HDTV on the left as the secondary, and a 22" Samsung LCD monitor on the right as the primary. I do all my TV/video/media watching on the secondary, the HDTV. I have Media Center always opening on that one. So here's my deal:
When I'm ready to crash out at night, I shut the 22" LCD off simply by pressing the power button. When it's late and I'm tired, I want to watch a little TV on the 32" in Media Center and then I can always shut that one via it's remote so that it's dark in the room to sleep.
I have an app on my iPhone called Air Mouse that allows control of my PC. Really I'm just being lazy because all I want to do is shut off the primary, the 22" LCD via a hotkey so I can do it from my iPhone like if I'm laying in bed or whatever and stil have the 32" HDTV on. Now I know the obvious answer here is to simply make the HDTV the primary monitor and create a hotkey to "disable/enable secondary". My problem with that is that the HDTV is only 720p, so it's max res is 1366x768, which is not NEAR as gorgeous as the 1680x1050 that my 22" LCD does. I know I can do that and just run what I want on the 22", but I prefer it to be my primary for the Start Menu, main taskbar, systray, etc.
So...is this possible? Creating a hotkey to disable/enable primary monitor? I realize that if i could do that, it would then make the secondary the primary. But then upon pressing said hotkey would re-enable the primary and restore my original configuration. Does this make sense?
Basically I just don't want my lower resolution monitor to be my primary unless the higher resolution monitor is currently disabled.
If anyone knows how to do this or that this capability is coming, please post. Thx.

OK...never knew that Ultramon had profiles. This WOULD work for what I want since "apply profile" is an option except that it seems Profiles are only available for systems with more than one user. This is dumb. I should be able to create a profile that would disable the 22" LCD, and make my 32" the primary. Then I could create a hotkey for this.

You can create as many profiles as you like and switch between them as desired, just don't check the 'apply this display profile when logging in' option.
What you want to do should work fine with two display profiles, you can create hotkeys for each profile via UltraMon Options > Hotkeys ('Apply display profile' action).

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately with both 308 and now 3010 when I click "new display profile"...absolutely nothing happens.
