I upgraded from 308 to 3010 today and even with the older version when I right click the tray icon Display Profiles>New Display Profile, I get nothing. Am I missing something or doing something wrong as far as how profile creation works? This is on Windows 7x64.

What happens if you do the following: open a command prompt, then run the command
"%ProgramFiles%\UltraMon\UltraMonShortcuts.exe" /c umdp

Well your suggestion worked for creating the profiles...But I can't get them to apply via a hot key. Hotkeys work for locking the mouse to a monitor, and for moving active window to the next monitor. But when I press hotkey for applying a profile, all it does is open Windows Explorer to the system32 folder???!? Doesn't make any sense. It's defintely an Ultramon thing too tho cuz when I remove those hotkeys...pressing sure doesn't bring up Explorer. Any ideas?

Sounds like UltraMon can't launch UltraMonShortcuts.exe for some reason, I'm not sure though what might cause this.
Do you have any security application installed which might prevent this?
If you're interested I could upload a test version of UltraMon.exe which outputs diagnostic information to help determine what might be going wrong.

It's ok I got it working just fine. It didn't like the key I was choosing for Applying Profiles for some reason. Thanks for the help.

I also cannot use Display Profiles > New Display Profile.
Entering ""%ProgramFiles%\UltraMon\UltraMonShortcuts.exe" /c umdp" in command prompt works, though.
Is there any way to fix this? For what it's worth, I can't do Shortcuts > New Shortcut either. Nothing happens in both cases, except the circular "working" mouse icon pops up for half a second and then disappears.
I'm on Windows 7 Enterprise x64 using the x64 3.1.0 of UltraMon.

I should add that I've also tried repairing, and then tried reinstalling several times, and neither worked.
Security software that I'm using: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, Microsoft Security Essentials
I've disabled both and reinstalled UltraMon and still run into the same issue, so I do not believe them to be the problem.

Not sure what might cause this, UltraMon basically runs the same command internally when you select New Display Profile from the menu.
If you're interested I could send you a test version of UltraMon.exe which logs any errors which occur when you click on New Display Profile, if you want to do this please contact me via e-mail at support@realtimesoft.com.
