My ultramon install went fine except the right monitor would never wake up after the computer was put to sleep. I had to literally pull the plug on it to get it to come back to life (both are Samsung P2570's).
I got some great dual screen backgrounds that extend across both monitors, and saved a new theme that uses these backgrounds. Then I uninstalled Ultra Mon to fix the sleep problem. Problem was fixed with the uninstall, but fortunately for me, the dual screen extended backgrounds remained in service! That was my primary reason for wanting Ultramon, so I essentially got this feature enabled on my desktop without needing to pay for Ultramon.

I'm not sure what would cause this, but it seems unlikely that this would be related to UltraMon. Also haven't seen this myself so far, I use standby and hibernate all the time.
