What kind of slots does the computer have, and what video card does it currently have? My cheap solution was to modify a cheap PCIe X16 card to fit in a PCIe X1 slot since I already had one video card in the PCIe X16 slot. It works great. I put the details of the mod I did on my web site. Another option is to modify the PCIe X1 slot.
Also, a new low-end PCIe X16 ATI Eyefinity card with 3 outputs is another option (assuming you even have PCIe slots, of course).
