This began appearing a couple of days ago. No significant changes to my setup that I'm aware of. I'm running Win XP SP2 on a generic box with Intel Core Duo.

UltraMon encountered a fatal error and will exit.

More information:

Version: 3.0.10
OS: 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 x32
Source file: .\MultimonGUI.cpp

You'll get this if UltraMon fails to load a resource. Did you install any additional language packs for UltraMon?

Not that I know of. I'm pretty sure I set it up with the default options. How would I check that?

You can see all installed languages under UltraMon Options > General > Language.

If only English is installed, most likely the language resource file got corrupted for some reason, to fix this go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs, select UltraMon, click on the support information link, then click on Repair.

Thanks. I just tried the repair, and we'll see. (It took only a few seconds -- does that sound right?)

That sounds okay.
