I have 3 Monitors intalled on an ATI 5750. Two on DVI and one on HDMI. The Graphiccard support only two Displays at a time, so I want to switch between two of the Displays. My Goal is to have an extended Desktop on 1 and 2 and switch by a click to 2 and 3.
Unfortunately does a switching with the display profiles not work when already two monitors are activated. When switching to another profile just the display resolution is changed, but not the active displays.
I found a solution to the problem when first setting back to one active display and then switching to the second profile.
Is there another solution to this problem without haveing to change the profile twice?

UltraMon currently doesn't support this, you would need to do this via Windows Display Properties (on Windows 7) or the software for the video card on earlier systems.
Support for this on Windows 7 is planned for a later release.

That card might be able to run 3 monitors, since it is an Eyefinity card, if the Display Port output is used instead of the HDMI output. Of course if none of your monitors have a display Port input, that might not be very useful information.

Thanks for your help. The Display Port is unfortunately not an option for me.

If somebody else has the same problem: I wrote a batch script to automate the switching process between two profiles including a reset to one monitor.
You can download the batch with instruction here:

You can run all three with this card. If you don't have a displayport monitor you can purchase an "Active display port to DVI adapter". Some are very expensive and most require a USB port to power but not all. Sapphire makes a great one for about $25. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814999030
I picked this up and now running primary via HDMI, one side monitor is DVI and the second side is also DVI but using the adapter it plugs into the display port. This solution works perfectly for both expanded desktop modes as well as full blown Eyefinity display.
