Hello, first of all, im sorry for my bad english. ;) My problem is that everytime im starting win7 the Smart Taskbar crashes. I have to reopen Ultramon and if i do that, every desctopicon on the right side change position. I have to open Ultramon again and restore my positions again. Then it works normally till i reboot. Then its the same: Smart Taskbar crashes, reopen Ultramon, Some desktop icons changed positions and restore Icons. Thats really annoying me and i hope its a common problem so anyone can help me :)
In another thread i read the it would help to deactivate "preserve position of desktop icons" but it didnt.
I would be really thankful if anyone could help me

Oh, Iam sorry. Its standart "windows crash". The program doesnt react, or in XP I think it was, The programm doesnt react and has to shutdown. So its the standart problem message for Windows if a program doesnt work.

Please save a crash dump when this happens the next time on Windows 7. To do this, don't close the error message, then open Task Manager, select the Processes tab, then right-click UltraMonTaskbar.exe and select Create Dump File from the menu.
Let me know once you have the crash dump, I will then send you a link to upload it to our server.

File uploaded successfully. I uploaded the Ultramon Dump file and the Ultramonsmarttaskbar (thats the process whats crashing) dumb file. I would be very thankful if you could say whats going on, and why its crashing every time i boot. The crazy thing is. At startup, every icons are at the right place. Then it crashes, it trys to start up again, with success, and then my icons are everywhere. I have to restore them and then its ok. Its really annoying.

Thanks for the crash dumps, but both applications seem to have been running normally when the crash dump was made.
To create the crash dump, make sure you don't close the error message until you have created the dump file, otherwise the application will exit.

Do you have ViOrb installed, or another application which interacts with the taskbar? I'm aware of an issue where the taskbar hangs if ViOrb is installed.

I already thought on something like that. But I dont have any other program installed that includes an taskbar or something. I installed Objectdock Dock, do you know it? Could this cause the problems? I´ll try it out. The crash wouldnt be a problem, but everytime I have to click on restore Icons because the icons are mingled.
I really have no idea. In Windows XP it was the same problem, but my icons werent mingled.

Disabling it might be worth a try.
Regarding the icons: I would recommend enabling 'preserve position of desktop icons' again, this way UltraMon will restore icon positions during startup. I don't think that your icon issue is related to UltraMon automatically saving icon positions during shutdown, otherwise restoring icon positions manually via UltraMon also wouldn't work.
