I have ultramon working on a laptop (vista) and one external monitor. The problem I am facing is that Ultramon is showing that my laptop is the secondary monitor and the external is the first. So when I unplug the external everything is returned to normal, the problem is when I plug the external back in. My taskbar goes over the to the external, which I don't want to happen. I have latest release of Ultramon if that's any help. Also I want the laptop to be 1 and the external to be 2 if that makes any sense. Thanks in advance

Setting the internal monitor as primary should fix the problem. You can either do this via UltraMon menu > Display Settings (may not work on laptops though), or via the software for the video card.

Thank you Christian,
Problem solved.
For future reference I changed the settings on the video card.
