Hello,

Wouldn't it be a helpful feature to have a configuration tool, where I can tell Ultramon, which programs should open in which window?
Ultramon only remembers the program for window1 after restart, window 2 and 3 get always mixed up.

Otherwise - nice program :-)

You can do this by configuring custom position settings for an application's shortcut, to set this up right-click the shortcut, select Properties from the menu, then select the UltraMon - Window tab and configure settings as desired.

I just adjust the settings of two programs. I told Ultramon to open these programs on window 3. But when I open the program it opens on my main monitor and not on monitor 3.

I also tried the setting; Show; Last used position

But the same thing happens, the program opens on my main monitor no matter what.

Please assist!

Thanks!

Thanks, Christian, that is a nice surprise.
I tried it but it completely mixes up my screen settings. Instead of 1,2,3 it is 3,1,2 after I gave the shortcuts the Ultramon settings. Is this a common problem? I am using a NVIDIA grafic card and couldn't fix it there or in the control panel. After removing the Ultramon settings from the shortcuts, everything worked again.

Susanne, most likely you also changed settings on the UltraMon - Display tab, this will change the display configuration when the application gets started. To position the application make sure you only modify settings on the UltraMon - Window tab.

Kevin, with what applications do you have this problem? UltraMon may not be able to position all applications.

Do you have a download link for one of the applications? I could give this a try on my own system.
