I am running a MacbookPro Win7 64 with
30" on 8600m gt 19" ThinkVisionL1940p on UV16 USB, rotated to portrait mode and standing on side the 30"
Issues I have now:
1.
I set up a custom profile, however, after restarting my computer the changes are lost.
To get the 19 right I need to use windows appearance control panel and switch it to portrait mode then reselect the UM custom profile once or twice.
2.
The 19 does not allow the full screen to be used even in native 1440x900.
3.
Is there anything I can do to increase image quality? I used the OSM to adjust colour settings but cannot get even close to the image sharpness as the other monitors. Text, of course, is most noticeable.

There's an issue on Windows 7 with display profiles and monitors in portrait mode, this will be fixed in the next release. The only workaround is to change settings manually via Windows Display Properties.
Can you select the native resolution for the 19" monitor via Windows Display Properties? If no, select the monitor in Display Properties, click on 'Advanced settings', then select the Monitor tab and uncheck 'Hide modes that this monitor cannot display'. You should then get additional display modes.
I don't think there's anything you can do regarding image quality, LCD monitors only look good at the native resolution.
