Tried to install UltraMon 2.0 beta 6 in win 2000 and the system rebooted? No installation was done and win 2000 want's to install new hardware on every startup! Got registry entries from UltraMon ! Ex. UltraMon Display Mirror Driver!
I can't delete the UltraMon registry enyries!
Get error message:Unable to delete all specified values! What shall I do to get rid of the registry entries and win 2000 new hardware found...???

Do you get the 'unable to delete all values' message when uninstalling UltraMon?

We weren't able to figure out why the installation of the UltraMon mirror driver crashed the system, but found a solution for the registry entries left behind.

On Windows 2000, uninstalling UltraMon will not remove some registry entries for the UltraMon Display Mirror Driver.

In Computer Management > System Tools > System Information > Components > Problem Devices, you'll see an entry for 'UltraMon Display Mirror Driver', with error code 31.

Do the following to remove the registry entry that is causing this:

- open regedt32.exe, the NT registry editor
- select the key 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\DISPLAYMIRROR'
- choose Security\Permissions from the menu
- on the dialog, click Add and add the Administrators group
- under Permissions, allow Read and Full Control for the Administrators group
- exit the dialog with OK and delete the DISPLAYMIRROR registry key
