Hi, I need to buy computer with 5 DVI/HDMI outputs. I there's no need for a high graphic performance - it is gonna be used for playing a movie. I was thinking about motherboard with three PCI-e slots for three graphic cards - Asus P7P55D Evo for example. Is this config (motherboard + three graphic cards) good for 5 independent monitors? What graphic cards would you suggest?
Thanks in advance, Lukasz

That should work fine, the motherboard has 3 PCIe x16 slots, which are required for video cards.
You could then install 3 dual monitor video cards for a total of up to 6 monitors.

Thank you for answer. Would any graphic cards work? Should they have same chipset/brand? Are features like SLI/CrossFire required? Any particular brands /models preferred?
Thanks once again, Lukasz

I like Nvidia, but ATI and Matrox should work just as well. I would get identical cards, this way you can use the same driver for all cards, and there shouldn't be any compatibility issues. SLI is only needed for games (two video cards rendering to a single monitor).
