Only recently do I have a dual moitor setup and I love it. Ok the specs first: Home built PC with an NVIDIA GeForce GT240 graphics card. 2 HP LP2065 20" screens. Once connected through DVI and one through the blue analog connector. Everything seemd to work fine, I can swap apps from 1 screen to an other, maximize to both screens, etc. After clsoing an app and re-opening it it would start in the previous state. Except for Outlook 2010?! It always starts maximized to Monitor 1. Other Office 2010 apps like Excel and Word do remember they were maximized to both screens and return in that mode when I start them. So I like to have Outlook maximized to btoh screens, where I have my inbox on the left screen and the preview pane on my right. Everytime I close and start Outlook I have to manually resize. I've tried all settings under the properties of the Outlook icon but nothing changes. Anybody else have this with Outlook 2010? If I recall correctly I did not have this issue with Outlook 2007....

I'm seeing that as well with Outlook 2010, unfortunately there's no workaround for this, I tried positioning Outlook via an UltraMon shortcut (UltraMon menu > Shortcuts > New Shortcut), but this didn't work.

I have the exact same setup as you with the inbox onleft and pane on right and I too never had a problem with 2007 but this is doing my head in!!
I'll keep looking for an answer if you do the same.
Cheers
