I use UltraMon on my laptop, for easy switching between mobile use and office use (with an external monitor). When I connect the external monitor, it is recognized, the correct resolution is applied, but the monitor position is always wrong.
This is what I want: Monitor 1 - 1600x1200 Coordinates: 0,0 - 1600,1200. Monitor 2 - 1280x800 Coordinates: 1600,400 - 2880,1200
However, Monitor 2 usually ends up at Coordinates: 1600,0 or occasionally at 0,1200
I've created a profile with the correct settings, but applying the profile doesn't always work : the monitor stays at the wrong position after applying the profile.
It used to work correctly. I don't know what has changed to break this.

Maybe the monitor numbers changed, make sure the display profile still applies the settings to the correct monitor.

It looks like the settings are still applied to the correct monitor (otherwise the resolutions would be all wrong). I've recreated the profile to make sure, but that hasn't helped.

What happens if you apply the profile a second time? Does the monitor get moved to the correct position?
Also let me know which version of UltraMon and Windows you're using.

No, applying the profile a second time makes no difference.

When this happens, can you move the monitor to the correct position via UltraMon menu > Display Settings or Windows Display Properties?

Yes, Windows display properties always works in this case. Haven't tried the Ultramon Display settings menu.

Please try with UltraMon menu > Display Settings when you get this the next time and let me know how it goes.

Tried it, UltraMon menu > Display Settings works.

There's got to be something wrong with the profile, the display profile and UltraMon menu > Display Settings change settings the same way.
Could you send me the display profile to support@realtimesoft.com?
