I have run Mailwasher and Ultramon together for years without issues.

Today I upgraded to Mailwasher 2010. The problem that I've encountered is that neither Ultramon's custom window buttons nor the custom window menu are present.
Any suggestions?

Most likely the application uses a custom window title bar, usually UltraMon won't be able to add buttons and/or menu commands in that case.
The hotkeys should still work though, you can configure Move Window and Maximize to Desktop hotkeys under UltraMon Options > Hotkeys.

Thanks for the info.
I had sent this same question to the MW folks. Their reply confirms what you supposed.
Since the previous version of MW worked fine with UM I asked them if they'd reconsider whatever "improvements" led to this sad result. Is what they did in conformance with standard windows programming practices?

A final update -
MW's final reply was that they are designing for Win7 features and UM's approach to moving, etc. windows is obsolete - AND that being the case, what's the big deal with my having to drag a window from one monitor to another.
I'm not replying any further to them, but my reaction their attitude is not positive and it's cost them a customer.
