Hi I am absolutely new to ultramon so have no idea how it is supposed to work. I have Catalyst Control Center installed with a Radeon X600 256MB card. I used to use CCC to do a horizontal stretch and extend the display to both monitors. What I would like to do is
1. Selectively choose which applications get extended across both screens. What I mean is if I would like to have the ability to choose whether to maximize the application to just one screen and not the other. By default all applications get maximized to both screens.
2. Have the ability to choose whether the windows taskbar gets extended to the second monitor.
I have installed Ultramon but am not seeing any functionality in it. It is the trial version as I want to see whether it works before purchasing it. Its installed and I see it running and even the ultramon taskbar.exe is running but I am not seeing any additional taskbar under toolbars in windows after enabling smart taskbar from the menu. Pls advise if ultramon will work for the above functions. I don't see anything in the menu's that gives that functionality. All i see when i right click on ultramon are
1. Display settings 2. Display profiles 3. Mirroring 4. ScreenSaver 5. Shortcuts 6. Wallpaper 7. Desktop Icons 8. Enable secondary 9. Set Primary 10. Smart Taskbar 11. Windows Management 12. Windows Display Properties 13. Options 14. Help 15. About 16. Close
Thx for your help.

1) That's not supported, by default windows will get maximized to the monitor they're on, but you can optionally maximize them across the whole desktop via the Maximize to Desktop window button added by UltraMon (see window management for more on this).
2) UltraMon can't extend the main taskbar to the other monitor, but it adds an additional taskbar to the secondary monitor, see Smart Taskbar for more on this feature.
