I find that I can not update Adobe Flash Player in Windows 7 64bit until I closed UltraMon. Came to this conclusion after closing all other open programs ( Antivirus etc.) and still could only update until I closed UltraMon. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

Another user reported the same issue some time ago, but I've never been able to reproduce this.
I think for him the issue was related to the window buttons added by UltraMon, you could try if disabling them for the installer fixes the problem, you can do this under UltraMon Options > Compatibility.

I can vouch for this issue. Under the same circumstances, I can't update Adobe Flash while UltraMon is running.

I just spent a few hours figuring this one out too. Nothing flash related would install, until I closed UltraMon. Then it worked fine.

Yeah, this was incredibly annoying. For some reason, if I logged in as a local admin (even though my domain user account is an admin on this computer) the flash player would update...otherwise I would get the error. Adding an exception in UltraMon to not add buttons to the installer window fixed the issue (or closing UltraMon).
I posted on the Adobe forum the solution as well: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3563244#3563244
