I want to be able to create a 2 different shortcuts for Firefox (and other programs or directories). One would go on my primary monitor (22inch) and the second one on my secondary monitor (60 inch TV). I want Firefox to open on the monitor they are selected from.
I have set up the two shortcut properties so one goes to monitor 1 and the other goes to monitor 2. No matter what the second instance of Firefox ends up on the same monitor as the first. I've also tried setting the shortcuts to start the program on the monitor with the mouse and that doesn't work either.
Background: I don't always have my TV on and/or selected to the computer input. It is a royal pain when my browser is over on the TV and I am trying to get it up on the monitor. Conversely it would be nice to be able to sit on my couch and bring up Firefox to stream from Netflix without having to get up and walk over to the computer desk. (I have two wireless mice - one at each location.)
Thanks!

Unfortunately this won't work with Firefox, due to how Firefox handles multiple instances UltraMon will only be able to position the first instance correctly. Currently I'm not aware of a fix/workaround for this.

Thanks Christian. I found a work around. When Firefox is on the big screen and the big screen is not selected (i.e. the girlfriend is watching TV), I right mouse click on the task bar and close the program out. Then I just click on the short cut and it comes up on the screen that I am working on. I suppose I could just disable the dual screen and it would pop over...
Also, I put an IE shortcut on the big screen which opens directly into Netflix for streaming. Explorer will basically be the browser for that monitor now.
