i would love to see the "show desktop" button that is located in the far right down corner on windows 7. When using just one monitor you can very easy jump to the desktop by dragging your mouse to that corner and just click it. no targeting required. However, when you use multiple monitors this no longer works and you have to do a lot more effort to click the button really fast.
So i would love to see this button duplicated on the ultramon taskbar.
More nifty windows 7 features that do not work with the ultramon toolbar are the jumplists and aero peek. Now i understand the difficulty in implementing these features, but it would be real awesome if it could be accomplished :)
one happy ultamon user

I just upgraded, got a Windows 7 64 bit laptop. I hadn't noticed that Aero Peek and other Windows 7 features didn't work with Ultramon.
I hadn't realized how Ultramon works. I was under the impression that what it did was to coax the Windows taskbar to behave the Ultramon way. I now can gather that isn't the case, the taskbar on the main display is really the Windows taskbar, with all the Windows 7 flourishes in tact. And the taskbars on the other displays are actually separate Ultramon entities. Which would thereby mean that any features from the Windows taskbar, if desired with Ultramon, would require Realtimesoft to implement them from scratch.
I assume that what I was thinking -- coaxing the Windows taskbar to behave the Ultramon way, can't be done. Too bad, as that would have some advantages. At any rate, the product works well even if it is stuck with some limitations.
