Would UltraMon work on 2 computers on 2 different networks?
I'm on a 2 corporate network divided physically by switches and routers.

UltraMon won't work in such a setup, it will only see the monitors connected to the local computer.
Take a look at MaxiVista or Synergy. MaxiVista will extend the desktop to the second computer so that you'll be able to stretch a single application across both monitors, Synergy will allow you to control both computers from a single keyboard/mouse (MaxiVista can do this as well).
